吳麥斯

MAI-SZU WU, M.D.

簡介

吳麥斯，台北醫學大學副校長，前雙和醫院院長，台灣腎臟醫學專家。

曾遠赴法國國家研究院進行研究，回台後建置腎臟科實驗室，在基隆長庚擔任腎臟科主任期間積極參與社區研究，降低民眾罹患慢性腎臟病的機率。後於北醫大學附設醫院成立慢性腎臟病防治中心，發表脂肪間質幹細胞治療腎臟病的成果，並積極推動器官移植。

台北醫學院時代曾擔任橄欖球隊隊長，率隊奪得兩次全國盃亞軍。於台北醫學大學推廣橄欖球教育，於U19世界賽創下佳績。加入台灣無惑橄欖球隊，至今仍與年輕時的隊友一起在球場上奔馳。
